Summary
Quality Fleet Service has worked with Bandit Industries for years, supporting customers running larger Bandit chippers and grinders throughout New England. Now, that lineup has expanded!
QFS now offers the full Bandit hand-fed chipper and stump grinder lineup, giving tree care companies, municipalities, landscapers and contractors more options when choosing the right machine for the work.
Gas or diesel. Drum or disc. Wheeled or tracked. Compact machines or high-production setups. The Bandit lineup covers a wide range of applications, and QFS can now support customers across that full range.
We’re also supporting these machines the same way we support the rest of the equipment we sell: with parts, service and people who already know the brand.
Bandit Hand-Fed Chippers
Bandit has been building hand-fed chippers since 1983, and its current lineup includes both drum-style and disc-style machines.
The lineup starts with smaller, compact chippers built for residential tree work and lighter-duty applications, then moves into larger machines designed for high-volume production and heavier material.
Drum-Style Chippers
Bandit’s drum-style lineup includes machines such as the 12XC, 12XPC, 12XP, 15XPC, 15XP, 18XP, 19XPC and 21XP.
The 12XC is one of the more compact 12-inch machines in the lineup. It gives contractors a smaller footprint while still providing the capacity needed for everyday tree care work.
The 12XPC and 12XP add more power and production capability, with multiple engine options available depending on the setup.
Moving up in size, the 15XPC, 15XP, 18XP and 19XPC are built for crews handling larger material and higher production demands. These machines offer larger feed systems, stronger pulling power and more horsepower as you move through the lineup.
The 21XP sits at the top of Bandit’s hand-fed drum chipper lineup. It is built for large material, demanding production work and operations that need serious capacity without stepping into a whole-tree chipper.
Disc-Style Chippers
Bandit also offers a strong lineup of disc-style hand-fed chippers.
The 65XP is one of the smallest machines in the lineup and works well for residential tree crews, landscapers and rental applications.
The 75XP increases capacity while still keeping a compact overall size.
The 90XC moves into the 9-inch class and is designed as a compact, maneuverable machine with plenty of capability for everyday tree work.
Bandit’s larger disc-style options include the 200UC, 200XP, 250XP, 255XP and 280HD.
These machines give operators more capacity, larger throat openings and stronger production for crews regularly handling bigger wood.
The 280HD sits at the top of the hand-fed disc lineup and is built for larger material and heavy production.
Bandit Stump Grinders
The Bandit stump grinder lineup gives operators several different options based on access, ground conditions, production needs and transport requirements.
Wheeled and tracked machines are available, along with different horsepower levels and machine sizes.
SG-40 Series
The SG-40 Series gives contractors a compact stump grinder option without giving up cutting power.
Models include wheeled and tracked configurations, along with different drive setups depending on the application.
These machines are well suited for residential tree work, tighter properties and contractors who need a smaller machine that can still handle regular stump removal work.
Bandit 2550
The 2550 moves into the mid-size category.
It is available in both wheeled and tracked configurations and offers gas or diesel engine options.
The machine is built to give operators a strong balance between maneuverability, access and production.
Optional control configurations are also available, including remote operation depending on the machine setup.
SG-75 and SG-75W
The SG-75 and SG-75W give customers a higher-horsepower option for larger stump work.
The SG-75 uses a tracked undercarriage, while the SG-75W gives operators a wheeled alternative.
These machines are designed for contractors handling larger stumps and higher-volume grinding work where added horsepower can make a major difference in production.
Bandit 2900 and 3100
The 2900 and 3100 sit at the heavier end of Bandit’s stump grinder lineup.
The 2900 combines high horsepower with a tracked undercarriage and remote operation, giving operators strong production while still allowing the machine to move through tighter access points.
The 3100 is a towable, high-production stump grinder designed for large stumps and open-access jobs.
These machines are built for contractors, municipalities and larger operations that need more production than a compact grinder can provide.
Gas or Diesel, Compact or High Production
One of the biggest benefits of Bandit’s lineup is the amount of choice available.
Some crews need a compact gas-powered chipper that is easy to tow and maneuver through residential neighborhoods.
Others need diesel power, remote controls, tracked undercarriages or enough horsepower to handle large removals all day.
The same idea applies to stump grinders.
A smaller contractor may need a compact grinder that can move through backyard gates. A larger tree company may need more horsepower, faster production and a machine built for repeated heavy use.
QFS can help customers compare models based on how the machine will actually be used, rather than pushing one machine into every application.
More Than Equipment Sales
QFS has worked with Bandit for years through the larger chipper and grinder side of the business.
Our technicians already have experience working on Bandit equipment. Our parts department supports the brand. Our team has an established relationship with Bandit and understands the level of support customers expect from a full-service dealer.
Customers buying a Bandit from QFS are not buying a machine and being left on their own afterward.
Our team can support Bandit owners with:
- New equipment sales
- Machine selection
- Parts and wear items
- Preventive maintenance
- Diagnostics
- Repair work
- In-shop service
- Road service
Tree care equipment works hard, and downtime can shut down an entire crew.
Having a dealer nearby that can support the machine, source parts and keep the equipment working is a major part of the buying decision.
Find the Right Bandit for Your Operation
Choosing a chipper or stump grinder comes down to the type of work you do, the size of the material you handle, how often the machine will run and how much production you need.
QFS can help you compare the Bandit lineup and find a machine that fits your operation.
